Practice Triathlon Races

The TBF Practice TRI Series will offer a fun, safe course for your to practice the art of triathlon.

Quarter or half mile open water swim - 12 mile road bike – complete as many laps as you wish on the 1 mile run course. Also included is transition area security, an official race clock/timer, water safety on swim course, and aid station on run course.

Cost: $20 per race. We can accept cash or check only at the race or use our sign-up page.

Race Day Registration is always available.

Features:

  • The Practice Triathlon Series will take place in and alongside alongside Beals Point, Folsom Lake or Lake Natoma. The lake has outstanding clear water quality (which is very refreshing on a hot summers day). The bike and run course will be on or alongside the bike trail system that winds around the lake.

  • There will be post race refreshments for all athletes at each practice triathlon. After crossing the finish line please take a cold water or Clif Bar Sports beverage and continue walking to allow your body to cool down. You should remain active for 10 to 15 minutes while you are drinking and re-fueling your body.
