Women’s TRI Class #3
Begins on Monday 7/14. Nimbus Flat, Lake Natoma, 6:30p. The Women’s Class No. 3 will begin with open water swim lessons, FREE wetsuit demos, and more. Learn how to swim, bike, run and finish a triathlon race with a little help from TBF Training. For more information about the class and schedule, please visit www.tbftraining.com. TBF Performance TRI Class features:
Open water swim lessons/workouts with water safety
Practice triathlon races
Run-form / run strength tempo workouts

This class is for anyone wishing to take their triathlon skills to the next level! Develop your open water swim techniques, get your run form dialed in, and put it all together with 3 practice triathlon races! It has been said the best way to get good at triathlon is to DO A TRIATHLON! This class is for all levels and will deliver the motivation you need to improve your triathlon skills/fitness! Race for Free. TBF Racing offers a race for free program. When you volunteer at a TBF Race, you will receive a volunteer shirt, breakfast, lunch, RedBull, and $40 race voucher toward your next race. We still need volunteers Saturday (Tri-4-Fun) and Sunday (Tri-4-Real). Please email Bill Driskill, to reserve a volunteer position.

START with a SPRINT

Tuesday (7/15): Run & Strength Workout. McKinley Park, Rose Garden, 6:30p. This run/strength workout will include run-form drills, run-strength drills, and a little running. Class will conclude with guided post-workout stretching and a core body strength routine. Recommended equipment: Run gear, run shoes, ball cap, water bottle, heart rate monitor (“HRM”; if you have one), towel, and dry clothes for after class.
Wednesday (7/16): Training & Nutrition Seminar. Fleet Feet Sports, Sacramento (23rd and Jst), 6:00p. At this informational seminar athletes will learn how to train for a triathlon. Topics will include workout frequency, type, duration, and intensity; equipment requirements, sports nutrition, and more! Please review your TBF Training Welcome Packet and be ready to learn how to calculate your heart rate training Zones! Please note this is not a workout.
Saturday (7/19): Run Clinic. American River College, Track, 8a. This will be the TBF Run Clinic where athletes will learn proper run technique. Class will begin with a run warm-up followed by light stretching. Then, a series of run form drills will be introduced designed to improve athletes’ run technique and efficiency. Also, this session will help athletes define and establish their heart rate training zones. Recommended equipment: Run gear, run shoes, water bottle, towel, HRM, and dry clothes for after class.
Monday (7/21): Open Water Swim. Nimbus Flat, Lake Natoma, 6:30p. This will be your second chance to develop a relationship with the water. The swim is all about technique so learn how to swim balanced thru the “Total Immersion” swim drills presented at this session. Recommend: Swim suit, goggles, cap, wetsuit (optional), water bottle and a towel.
