Fall Triathlon Class

The TBF Fall Triathlon Class (August 3 – October 11) is a 10-week program designed for all levels of athletes to learn the sport of triathlon. Coached group workouts and swim, bike and run clinics are included as part of the class. The class meets up to three days per week which makes getting your workouts in fun and exciting. Enjoy great workouts and meet new people too. This Class “graduates” with the Golden State TRI and race entry fees are included with the Class. Cost: $4500

Performance TRI Class

The TBF Performance Triathlon Class is comprised of high-intensity action-packed workouts including open water swim lessons practice TRI races, and challenging run workouts at the Track. The class will meet on Mondays at Nimbus Flat, Lake Natoma for open water swimming and Wednesday’s at Lake Natoma for Triathlon races. The Class will also meet on Thursday’s for a focused/tempo run workout. And, here is the best deal... you can get it all for only $100! Or, get the TBF Perfomance TRI Class for FREE when you join the Fall Triathlon Class. The Performance TRI Class Features: Professional coaching, three Practice Triathlon Races, four Track Attack Workouts including time trial, and four open water swim lessons. NEW: Women’s Fitness Class

The TBF Women’s Fitness Class meets every Tuesday at McKinley Park at 6:30 pm with coached workouts, running, fitness routines, yoga, stretching, nutrition tips and more. Email Coach Dan at dan@totalbodyfitness.com for a FREE test workout – or drop by any Tuesday between June and September to join the fun and get a great workout.

Practice TRI Series

New this summer are the TBF Training Practice TRI Series, which will offer a fun, safe course for you to practice your swim, bike, run and transition skills in a simulated sprint distance triathlon race. The practice TRI will include either 1 or 2 laps on the quarter-mile open water swim course (athlete’s choice), a 12+ mile road bike ride around Lake Natoma, and a scenic 1 mile run course (we recommend completing 3 laps on the run course). In addition, the race will include water safety on the swim course, timed finish, aid station on run course, and refreshments. Also, there will be a pre-race coaches’ talk on transition setup, warm-ups, and race strategy. Cost: $30/race. 4 race package: $100.

Women's Learn to TRI Class for LUNA Bar

The third Women's Learn-to-Tri Class offered by TBF will teach athletes how to train for and finish a sprint distance triathlon race. This six-week triathlon class is for all levels of athletes and is for women only. The TBF Coaches will teach you how to swim, bike, run and train to finish the Luna Bar (link). The class meets 3-4 times per week and includes professional TRI coaching, personalized training plans, swim/bike/run clinics, informational seminars, and more! Summer Triathlon Class


The TBF Summer Triathlon Class is a underway and has drop-in workouts: an open water swim on Monday nights, a brick workout on Wednesday nights, long bike rides or practice triathlons on Saturday mornings. These 1 and ½ hour to 3 hour workouts are part of the 10 week class, and are also available with Five workout or Ten workout passes. The TBF Summer Triathlon Class is a great way to improve your multi-sport fitness level, improve your swim, bike and run skills, and meet new workout partners.

Wed. (7/1): Run & Strength Workout. McKinley Park, Rose Garden, 6:30PM

Thurs. (7/2): Track Attack. American River College Track, 6PM

Fri. (7/3): No class this date so get out of town early at beat the 4th of July rush!

Sat. (7/4): July 4. No classes this weekend

Summer Duathlon Class (May-July): This class is for athletes wishing to enjoy multi-sport without the swimming. The Duathlon Class is a bike/run class that will teach you how to run fast and bike efficiently. The Class concludes with a Summer Duathlon (race entry included). Cost: $350.

Summer Aqua Bike Class (May-July): All the fun of triathlon without the running! This Class will feature bike and swim clinics, workouts, and FUN! Learn how to swim with confidence in the open water then ride your bike with skills you never knew you had. Cost: $350.

FAQ

Do I have to be fit to join?  TBF Training Classes are for all levels.  We teach heart rate based training and workouts are designed around time and intensity.  This is a great format for all fitness levels.

What if I don’t swim?  You can join the Duathlon Class (run and bike only).

What if I don’t run?  Join our Aqua Bike Class that includes swimming and biking only.

Is TBF a team?  TBF Athletes are involved with the program to learn and get the most out of every workout hour.  TBF is not a team but rather a group of athletes that share the same passion…getting fit and improving their quality of life.

What if a Marathon (26.2-miles) is too long for me?  The TBF Marathon Class offers running groups/lesson plans for CIM Marathon 4-person relay, ½ marathon, and full marathon programs.  Get started with a walk/run program or jam with the Sub-4 hour finish group.

What if I’m not sure about joining?  TBF offers your first workout FREE of charge.  Come out to a class, meet the coaches, enjoy the workout, and see if you like it with no obligation to join.

What about equipment?  TBF will help you with equipment selection and needs.  You can get started with the basics and upgrade as you commit to the program.  Ask a TBF coach about equipment deals and sponsor discounts!

What if I can’t attend classes on a regular basis? TBF offers 5-Class and 10-Class punch cards at significant savings off the drop-in rate…$100 and $150, respectively. Punch cards can be purchased at any Class meeting.

What if I just want to hand-pick one or two sessions? Drop-in is always available at TBF Classes.
